Below you will find out why I’m known as “Hollywood”
and why my shack is known as “Pappys' Place”. You’ll
also find some of my thoughts, beliefs and interests,
some of which I’m highly opinionated. You can agree,
disagree, like them or not. I mix politics and religion
and I’m not politically correct. It’s all part of life and I
live it my way. C'est la vie!
While browsing my website you can listen to my jukebox.
Selections are located directly under the jukebox. By
clicking on the "Action Bar" or "Song #1" all the
selections will play. These songs will take you back to
yesteryear, back to a 1960's country honky tonk, to an
atmosphere of "Dim lights, thick smoke and loud, loud
music". Back when a play was just a nickle..... but here
on my jukebox all the plays are free..... Turn up your
speakers, lean back in your chair and slip back in time.

station, three Collins S-Lines, i.e.: an S-1 Line (not
shown), S-2 Line, S-3 Line and a Collins KWM-2A with an
auxillary Collins 75S-3B reciever. I recently enlarged my
shack to accomodate a new operating table. I designed this
new table to my station needs and specs. It was custom
built by my friend Carey, KC5GTT. Another friend, John,
furnished the new carpet. Thanks to Carey and John.

Top shelf: Collins 516F-2, 75S-3B, KWM-2A and 312B-3. By
mating the KWM-2A with the 75S-3B you get dual receive or
you could call it..... vintage “Dual Watch”.
Table top: Collins 516F-2, 32S-2, 75S-2 and 312B-4. The
Collins S-2 line is quite possibly the rarest and most
prized of the S-lines. Very, few were made (only 300 exci-
ters and 300 receivers). Almost all were sold to the
government and industry. Very, very few remain today.
These are factory S-2s (not updated versions of the
S-1 line); you can tell by the wide "eyebrows" over the
"EXCITER TUNING", "P.A. TUNING" and "PRESELECTOR" knobs.
This S-2 line is in near mint condition! What a joy to
own and operate.

Top shelf: Icom PS 126, 756 Pro II (now replaced with
IC 7600), SP 21.
Table top: Ten Tec Centurion 422B.

Top shelf: Heil PR 40, Ten Tec 238B, DWM2104A (on top of
tuner), W2IHY audio gear, rotor control and Sony laptop.
Table top: Collins 312B-4, 75S-3, 32S-3 and 516F-2.

Six element 10m hybrid yagi at 60'.
Undoubtedly the best beam I’ve ever owned. I’ve
had plumber delights, diversified loop beams,
four or five tri-banders including a TH6DXX,
an ATB34, an A-4, etc, a couple of all-band ver-
ticles, various wires, etc. I’ve also had two
Signal Engineering quads; a Lightning 6 and a
Lightning 8. Both of these were big disappoint-
ments, neither any better than equal yagis.
Question: If true cubical quads are so great…
why doesn’t Cushcraft and the other major manu-
factures offer them??? Why doesn’t the ham com-
munity use them??? Cubicle quads are just a gim-
mick. They do work but... certainly no better than
and most likely not as good as a yagi of equal
elements. Let an ice storm come along and then
you’ll have a real “Nightmare in the air”. I
know! I’ve been there and done that! I wish I
had taken a picture of that mess.

My daughter Amber took this pic in Creede, Colorado
while on vacation with her husband Craig. I use to
tease her when she was young that I was her “Pappy”
instead of her "Daddy". She had this pic printed
as a Fathers Day present. Since then my shack has
become known as “PAPPYS’ PLACE”. I’m known as
“Crappy Pappy” to a couple of my grand-children be-
cause I discipline them and make them behave! Damn
I can’t win. I’m getting all these derogatory names
on and off the air!
This poor quality repro pic is of my novice station (circa
1977). It is the famous Collins “GOLD DUST TWINS”. The
transmitter was rated at 1000 watts in and 600 watts out
from a pair of 4CX250B’s. If you look close you can see my
novice call (WD5DVN) on the station control which I built.
This station control consisted of a frequency counter,
clock, rotor control, power meter, swr bridge and select-
able cw filter. It matched the Twins almost perfectly al-
though a tiny bit crude. The power supply is on the floor
to the right, it weighed in at a cool 173 lbs. The only dis-
advantage to the “Twins” was they would not tranceive.
You had to find your desired receive freq. and then zero
beat the xmtr to it. This problem was resolved with the
introduction of the S-Lines in 1958. The “TWINS” were pro-
duced from 1955 - 1958 and I believe the pair sold new for
a little less than $3000. That was a ton of money in those
days. This rig today would, if in very nice condition cos-
metically, mechanically and electrically, sell for between
$5000 and $8000, whatever the market will allow and whe-
ther some ham has a pocket full of money burning a hole in
his pocket. They’re still considered today as the ultimate
in vintage SSB. A lot of the newer rigs today are boasting
of having “Collins” mechanical filters which were intro-
duced by Collins back in the 50’s. To tell you the truth I
bet a nice set of these “Twins” will give the newer rigs
of today a run for the money.
A poor quality repro pic of my station as I was going
solid state (circa 1983). The S-Line was gathering dust.
Solid state was the cats’ meow. I had quite a few Ken-
woods…TS-430S (junk), TS-140S (couldn’t stand up to 100%
duty cycle but was decent on SSB), a TS-50S (not impres-
sive), TS-930S (OK, but kinda Plain Jane) and a TS-450S
which was nice. The Drake L-7 was a super nice amp, never
any troubles. Also had a mint Alpha 76CA, the 3 hole ver-
sion of the 76 series with 3 8874’s. Super amp but I got
scared of it because of its’ age. Tubes are about $400 a
piece. The paper in the plate transformer was looking
brownish and getting brittle. I guess I was too dumb to
know this is normal. That amp will probably still be pro-
ducing “Maximum Smoke” long after I’m gone. I just sold a
Henry 4K Ultra to NQ4I in Georgia for his contest station.
I hear he’s coming up #1 most of the time. I personally
saw this Ultra do 3000 watts PEP into a Bird watt meter
and a dummy load. I sold the Ultra for the same reason as
the Alpha. 8877’s are high dollar and parts are getting
scarce and expensive too. And moving the beast was like
moving a battleship. Oh well….live and learn…For the last
few years I have gone with Icom radios and Ten Tec amps
and tuners. Kenwood has been dragging their feet in re-
search and development. Nothing new in years. I feel
Icoms are the best of todays’ Jap xcvrs with Yaesu coming
in second….All Yaesu seems to be doing is adding a bunch
of high dollar frills that don’t really do much of any-
thing. Just my opinion! Also tried some MFJ stuff..….the
nomer “Mighty Fine Junk” fits real well……especially their
high power tuners. I bought a new MFJ 986 …under high
power it arced over badly on 75m. And Ameritron tuners?
I bought a used ATR 30 to replace the 986….under high
power on 75m it sounded like bacon was just starting to
sizzle ….more junk. Ameritron amps? The bottom of the
line in American made amps for sure. QTH.COM is full of
them….people trying to unload them. Again…just my opinion!
As for power supplies.. ..I bought a new Astron VS-35M in
1983. It hasn’t missed a lick in 25 years of hard conti-
nuous use. Will the new switching supplies give this ser-
vice?….only time will tell.
How about a neat clock with your radio logo and your
name or call. They really enhance your shack. I bought
mine ready made from WA2RQY. Check out his website for
more info: http://www.myradioroom.com/ Or you can make
your own….buy a plain clock from Walmart, etc. Find your
radio logo on the computer, print out your logo. Do your
name and/or call on your computer and print it. Fix these
to the clock dial. Carey did his this way and it’s sharp!
Store bought or home made……either way they sure look
sharp.
Best mic for the older rigs. And the newer rigs
too. Just bought this Shure 444D new in the box
to go with my Collins rigs. It still has the
protective plastic covering over the face plate.
Pic shows it to have scratches and mars (flash?)
but it doesn’t. It’s absolutely mint. Nothing
but great reviews on eham, i.e.: “If you are
looking for a rugged “communications” quality
microphone that will slice through the pileups
better than any other mic, then you want the
Shure 444. This is the one that cuts through the
QRM and gets you through when others won’t. It’s
communications quality, not Hi-Fi, and concen-
trates all your power into the speech range
where it needs to be to make you heard.” K3AUB.
I couldn't have said it better and how true
it is. I do use a Heil PR 40 with my Icom Pro II
and it sounds super. But with the TBW of the
Pro II, I think the PR 40 is a bit of an overkill.
The Shure 444D will probably do damn near as well,
if not as well and maybe even better. Again.....
what are we trying to operate here.....a SSB
amateur radio station or an am/fm commercial
broadcast station(Hi-Fi)?
As for ESSB.....K7PEH says it quite well....
"I have been reading about and hearing about
ESSB, Extended Single Sideband, for a few weeks
now. What is this all about? I mean, I thought
if you wanted audio wider than 3 kHz that you
went AM or FM but not SSB. So, why would some-
one want great audio on the ham bands? I don't
get it? I was thinking of buying a new Icom 756
Pro III and it has the ability to adjust the
bandwidth of your transmitted SSB signal. In-
stead of some default such as 2700 or 3000 Hz,
you could trim it down to 1800 or maybe 2100 or
whatever. So, is this what this feature is all
about, widening your signal to be wider than 3
kHz. So, now we have ESSB and now that neigh-
boring station is more than merely some minor
QRM, it is a signal squashing your signal. If
we were all using ESSB, the notion of QSY'ing
up or down 3 kHz to handle a sidebar would be
history. So, are there really operators who
care that much about fidelity that ESSB is
something to be desired? I give up I just
don't get it." K7PEH
My feelings exactly, Well said Phil!

As for the new "NO CODE' Amateur licensing
which I vehemently oppose.....K2FX says it
all too well.
"December 15, 2006 was a day that will forever
change the way Amateur Radio applicants will be
tested in the United States. On this day the FCC
in its infinite wisdom announced that the CW or
Morse Code requirement would no longer be required
to gain a license of ANY CLASS! So what does this
mean for the future of Ham Radio? Having been li-
censed since 1973, and living through many of the
changes over the years, I personally believe that
this will be the beginning of the end of Ham Radio.
Statistically, I've been tracking with great care
the conditions of our HF frequencies since the mid
1980's when the FCC went to the Volunteer Examiner
Program. By statistically I mean the number of com-
plaints of malicious interference, abusive language,
personal threats, jamming, intentional QRMing, and
Notices of Apparent Liability (NAL) that have been
documented. The results clearly show that since we
went to a no-code license, and volunteer examina-
tion process, the bands have been in a steady state
of decline. Many of the applicants are not nearly as
technically versed as they should be, nor are they
the proficient operators that are required to fulfill
the Public Service role that we all play. That's
right. Ham Radio is a Public Service first and fore-
most. Too many times we forget that part! We are
called upon to provide emergency communications during
times of natural disasters. That takes trained
operators.
Some of the new operators of today seem to want to have
everything handed to them with very little effort on
their part to actually earn the privileges they seek.
All of the whiners who just DID NOT WANT to learn the
CW because is was too time consuming, or just too hard.
The eventual drop to 5WPM in itself made the CW require-
ment a joke, plus the advent of the "10 Question"
multiple choice test you had to take if you didn't copy
the one minute solid as required just added insult to
injury. Let's see......You are monitoring HF, and hear
a distress call on CW from a maritime mobile station
with an urgent situation. You answer the call, but find
that your CW skills can not keep pace in order to get
the needed information. So you ask the distressed
station to send the information again, but this time,
do it in such a way that the information is sent so
that you can "guess" at the right answer. See how crazy
that sounds, but that's what was happening with the CW
Testing method before being dropped from all license
class requirements.
In 1973 when I was licensed, you studied electronic
theory, and you learned the CW. 5WPM for Novice,
13WPM for General/Advanced, and 20WPM for Extra Class.
Then you went to your nearest FCC Examination Office,
and sat down for the code test. If you passed by copy-
ing 1 minute solid, you were then given the theory
test. If you failed the theory, you waited 30-days
to come back and do it all again, including the CW
test. There were NO question pools. No way to just
MEMORIZE the answers like you can today. You either
knew the theory or you didn't, and passed the test
based on your knowledge, not your memorization
skills. That is what I experienced, and today you
have adults all crying because they say the code
is just too hard to learn, or too time consuming.
When I was first licensed, I was just 13-years old!
Thirteen years old, and I DID IT! So did many others.
So why in today's society is it suddenly too difficult
for everyone? Why, because people today truly believe
that they have a right to take part in the hobby, no
matter what! We all want instant gratification. So I
guess that means that if I now want to get a PhD from
Harvard University, they should just give it to me
with no studying or classes required because I deserve
it. I won't be qualified for it, but by God, I deserve
it, so you should just give it to me! Do you see just
how ludicrous that sounds, but as sad as it is, that’s
todays mentality.
I do not want to see Ham Radio go the way that CB
Radio did in the late 1970's. Since 1973, I've been
very proud to have been a Ham Radio Operator, and I
really hope that I am wrong in my estimation of things
to come. Only time will tell, but as long as I am able,
I'll fight to preserve the technical standards we need
to have, and to TOUGHEN the written testing required
for all licenses in order to make up for the removal
of CW. I would like to see all test questions pools
go away and applicants get back to actually learning
the material required to perform our role as Amateurs
for all test applicants. Let's teach the theory, then
base all tests on that theory WITHOUT actually pub-
lishing the exact questions and answers. That takes
the memorization aspect out of the equation. You either
know the theory when you sit down for a test or you
don't. That to me would be the perfect stop gate for
unqualified individuals in the absence of a CW test."
Again...well said Paul....I couldn't agree more!

The word would pass by pounding brass,

HOLLYWOODS’ BIO
I WAS BORN IN SAN ANTONIO AT THE END OF WWII AND
HAVE LIVED HERE IN THE AREA ALL MY LIFE EXCEPT FOR
14 MONTHS IN VERDUN, FRANCE (62-63) AND A 3 YEAR
STINT IN THE U.S. ARMY DURING THE VIETNAM WAR
(63-66). I WAS STATIONED IN SOUTH KOREA NEAR THE
DMZ WITH THE 1ST CAVALRY DIVISION. I SPENT MY LAST
20 MONTHS AT SANDIA BASE NEAR ALBUQUERQUE, NM.
AFTER GETTING OUT OF THE ARMY I TRIED COLLEGE FOR
A YEAR….THAT DIDN’T WORK. I GOT A JOB AT THE SAN
ANTONIO LIGHT NEWSPAPER THAT LASTED FOR 25 YEARS.
I WAS A STEREOTYPER FOR THE FIRST SIX YEARS AND
THEN A PHOTOENGRAVER FOR THE NEXT NINETEEN YEARS.
THE LIGHT CLOSED DOWN IN 1993 FOR ECONOMIC REASONS.
I THEN WENT TO WORK FOR USAA IN THEIR PRINT DEPART-
MENT FOR EIGHT YEARS. USAA HAD A MASS LAYOFF OF
4000 JOBS IN 2001 AND I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES
TO GO OUT THE DOOR. BUT IT WAS A SUPER PLACE TO
WORK. I MARRIED IN 1971 (STILL MARRIED AFTER 39
YEARS) AND WE HAVE 5 CHILDREN, ALL WHOM ARE NOW
GROWN. I HAVE HAD TWO HOBBIES IN MY LIFE. THE
FIRST WAS MUSCLE CARS, CUSTOMIZED CARS AND HARLEY
DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES. THE SECOND WAS AND STILL IS
AMATEUR RADIO. I TRIED TO AVOID THE C.B. CRAZE
OF THE 70′S BUT FINALLY GAVE IN DURING LATE 1976.
I BOUGHT A SMALL 23 CHANNEL A.M. MOBILE RIG AND
INSTALLED IT IN MY VAN. I’VE BEEN HOOKED ON THIS
RADIO THING EVER SINCE. I OBTAINED MY NOVICE AMA-
TEUR LICENSE (WD5DVN) IN THE SPRING OF 1977 AND
WORKED 100% NOVICE CW FOR A YEAR. I MASTERED CW AT
ABOUT 15 WPM AND UPGRADED TO GENERAL IN THE SPRING
OF 1978, UPGRADED TO ADVANCED 6 MONTHS LATER (NEW
CALL N5AXC) AND TO EXTRA A FEW YEARS AFTERWARDS.
I NEVER GOT UP TO 20 WPM BUT I COPIED ENOUGH TO
PASS THE EXTRA CLASS CW TEST. “VANITY CALLS” BE-
CAME AVAILABLE IN THE 90′S SO IN 1999 I DECIDED TO
APPLY FOR A NEW CALL. I COULDN’T FIND ANY AVAIL-
ABLE CALLS THAT WOULD APPLY TO ME SUCH AS MY INI-
TIALS, ETC. I SEARCHED THE “CALLS AVAILABLE” LIST
AND WAS VERY SURPRISED TO FIND A FEW “TRIPLE SAME
LETTER” CALLS AVAILABLE. I STARTED TO APPLY FOR
W5KKK BUT FIGURED THAT WOULD JUST INVITE TROUBLE
SO I OPTED FOR W5SSS WHICH I STILL HOLD TODAY. I
NEVER CARED ABOUT D.X.’ING, CONTESTING, BELONGING
TO CLUBS, FIELD DAY, ETC AND I CAN’T BRAG ABOUT
ANY AWARDS SUCH AS “WAS” OR “DXCC”, ETC. BUT I
CAN BRAG ABOUT OWNING A MESS OF VERY NICE RADIOS
AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT. IN THOSE DAYS NOVICE
EXAMS WERE ONLY GIVEN BY GENERAL CLASS AND ABOVE
HAMS (NOT THE FCC), MY "ELMER" AND TEST GIVER WAS
DEAN DAVIS, W5BGE (NOW SK). SHORTLY AFTER GETTING
MY NOVICE TICKET I MET A FEW NEIGHBORHOOD HAMS…..
BILL ECKENRODE, W5SG, BYRON WEBB, W5WVL (NOW SK)
AND JIM TILTON, KB5CU (NOW SK). WITH BILLS’ HELP I
FOUND AND BOUGHT A NICE COLLINS KWS-1 XMTR AND
BILL SOLD ME HIS MATCHING COLLINS 75A-4 RCVR….THIS
SET UP IS BETTER KNOWN AS THE FAMOUS AND FABULOUS
“GOLD DUST TWINS”. I ALSO ACQUIRED A HY-GAIN TH6DXX
ANTENNA FROM BILL AND TOWERED IT AT 60 FEET. I’M
NOT SURE BUT I THINK I WAS PROBABLY THE ONLY
NOVICE EVER TO OWN AND OPERATE SUCH A FABULOUS RIG
AS A NOVICE STATION. I SOLD THE “GOLD DUST TWINS”
IN 1981 AND BOUGHT A NICE COLLINS S-LINE STATION
FROM JIM, KB5CU. IN 1983 I SUCCUMBED TO SOLID STATE
RADIOS AND HAVE BEEN SOLID STATE SINCE. I RECENTLY
STARTED UP A COLLINS COLLECTION. ALL PIECES ARE IN
C.C.A. EXCELLENT CONDITION AND THEY OPERATE LIKE
NEW. WHAT A PLEASURE TO OWN AND OPERATE. I TREASURE
A QUOTE FROM MY FRIEND BILL, W5SG: …..”A TEXTBOOK
COLLINS STATION, VERY CLEAN AND PROPER”. THE WORD
“PROPER” SAYS IT ALL! MY FAVORITE BAND IS 10M. I
AM NOW 64 AND NEARING RETIREMENT. I ACQUIRED THE
HANDLE “HOLLYWOOD” FROM THE VERY START IN 1977 AND
IT HAS STUCK WITH ME EVER SINCE. AT THAT TIME I LIVED
IN “HOLLYWOOD PARK” SUBDIVISION NORTH OF SAN ANTONIO.
MY FIRST NAME IS JOE AND THERE WAS QUITE A FEW OTHER
AMATEURS NAMED JOE. TO AVOID CONFUSION EACH OF US
TOOK ON A HANDLE THAT COMBINED OUR NAME AND LOCATION…
..HENCE “HOLLYWOOD (PARK) JOE”. OVER THE YEARS IT HAS
SHORTENED TO JUST “HOLLYWOOD”. ALSO OVER THE YEARS I
HAVE MADE MANY FRIENDS ON THE AIR AND PROBABLY JUST
AS MANY ENEMIES. I’VE BEEN CALLED AND HAVE ACQUIRED
MORE DEROGATORY NAMES AND HANDLES THAN YOU CAN
SHAKE A STICK AT. EVEN MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS DERIVED
FROM A NAME ONE OF MY “RADIO BUDDIES” LAID ON ME.
AND I ANSWER TO ALL THESE “TERMS OF ENDEARMENT”
JUST TO PISS-OFF THE ORIGINATORS. I AM KNOWN BY MY
ADVERSARIES AS “ASSHOLE”, “JACKASS JOE”, "OLD GOAT",
"PECKERWOOD”, THE "GEEK FROM PIPE CREEK”, THE "FLAKE
FROM THE LAKE”, THE "MISTAKE FROM THE LAKE”, ETC.
BUT, EVEN WITH ALL THE ADVERSITY, ENMITY, HATE AND
DISCONTENT…. I STILL LOVE IT. AS JACKIE GLEASON
USE TO SAY “HOW SWEET IT IS!” I NOW LIVE ABOUT 40
MILES NORTHWEST OF SAN ANTONIO….SEVEN MILES SOUTH
OF PIPE CREEK IN THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY. AFTER
READING ALL OF THE ABOVE SOME WILL THINK THAT I'M
A "HARD-ASS" OR THAT I THINK I'M A "HARD-ASS". NOT
SO. I'M NOT "POLITICALLY CORRECT" (WHAT EVER THAT IS)
SO I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT I SAY. AS THE
OLD BUCK OWENS SONG GOES.....I JUST "ACT NATURALLY".
I BE MYSELF, SAY IT AS IT IS AND TELL THE TRUTH! AND
AS THE OLD SAYING GOES: "THE TRUTH IS NOT ALWAYS POP-
ULAR, BUT IT'S ALWAYS RIGHT". WELL THAT’S ALL I CAN
THINK OF FOR NOW. ..........SEE YA LATER...HOLLYWOOD
BELOW YOU WILL FIND A FEW VERY INTERESTING ARTICLES:
Advent of the ANTICHRIST
A Prophecy of St. Nilus
Realizing that St. Nilus is scarcely known to a large
part of the Church, a brief sketch of his life, taken
from the Catholic Encyclopedia (1911 edition) is re-
lated below:
St. Nilus was one of the many disciples and fervent de-
fenders of St. John Chrysostom. He was an officer at
the Court of Constantinople, married, with two sons.
While St. John Chrysostom was patriarch, before his
exile (398-403), he directed Nilus in the study of
Scripture and in works of piety. St. Nilus left his
wife and one son and took the other, Theodulos, with
him to Mount Sinai to be a monk. The Bishop of Eleusa
ordained both St. Nilus and his son to the priesthood.
The mother and other son also embraced the religious
life in Egypt. From his monastery at Sinai, St. Nilus
was a well-known person throughout the Eastern Church;
by his writings and correspondence he played an impor-
tant part in the history of his time. He was known as
a theologian, Biblical scholar and ascetic writer, so
people of all kinds, from the emperor down, wrote to
consult him. His numerous works, including a multitude
of letters, consists of denunciations of heresy, pagan-
ism, abuses of discipline and crimes, of rules and prin-
ciples of asceticism, especially maxims about the reli-
gious life. He warns and threatens people in high places,
abbots and bishops, governors and princes, even the em-
peror himself, without fear. He kept up a correspondence
with Gaina, a leader of the Goths, endeavoring to convert
him from Arianism. He denounced vigorously the perse-
cution of St. John Chrysostom both to Emperor Arcadius
and to his courtiers. St. Nilus must be counted as one
of the leading ascetic writers of the fifth century.
His feast is kept on November 12th in the Byzantine
Calendar; he is commemorated also in the Roman Martyr-
ology on the same date. St. Nilus probably died around
430 as there is no evidence of his life after that.
Now the prophecy:
After 1900, toward the middle of the 20th century, the
people of that time will become unrecognizable. When
the time for the Advent of the Antichrist approaches,
people's minds will grow cloudy from carnal passions,
and dishonor and lawlessness will grow stronger. Then
the world will become unrecognizable. People's appear-
ances will change, and it will be impossible to dis-
tinguish men from women due to their shamelessness in
dress and style of hair. These people will be cruel and
will be like wild animals because of the temptations of
the Antichrist. There will be no respect for parents
and elders, love will disappear, and Christian pastors,
bishops, and priests will become vain men, completely
failing to distinguish the right-hand from the left. At
that time the morals and traditions of Christians and of
the Church will change. People will abandon modesty, and
dissipation will reign. Falsehood and greed will attain
great proportions, and woe to those who pile up treasures.
Lust, adultery, homosexuality. secret deeds and murder
will rule in society. At that future time, due to the
power of such great crimes and licentiousness, people will
be deprived of the grace of the Holy Spirit, which they
received in Holy Baptism, and equally of remorse. The
Churches of God will be deprived of God-fearing and pious
pastors, and woe to the Christians remaining in the world
at that time; many will completely lose their Faith because
they will lack the opportunity of seeing the light of knowl-
edge from anyone at all. Then they will separate themselves
out of the world in holy refuges in search of lightening
their spiritual sufferings, but everywhere they will meet
obstacles and constraints. And all this will result from the
fact that the Antichrist will want to be Lord over every-
thing and become the ruler of the whole universe, and he
will produce miracles and fantastic signs. He will also
give depraved wisdom to an unhappy man so that he will dis-
cover a way by which one man can carry on a conversation
with another from one end of the earth to the other. At
that time men will also fly through the air like birds and
descend to the bottom of the sea like fish. And when they
have achieved all this, these unhappy people will spend
their lives in comfort without knowing, poor souls, that it
is deceit of the Antichrist. And, the impious one! - he will
so complete science with vanity that it will go off the
right path and lead people to lose faith in the existence of
God and in the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity. Then the
all-good God will see the downfall of the human race and will
shorten the days for the sake of those few who are being saved,
because the enemy wants to lead even the chosen into temp-
tation, if that is possible ... then the sword of chastisement
will suddenly appear and kill the perverter and his servants.
**********************************************
The “Image of God”
God created man in his own image, “in the image
of God created he him; male and female created
he them.” Gen 1:27. But, what is the image of
God? Scripture says that that image is Christ
Jesus! “God….hath spoken unto us by His Son…Who
being the brightness of His glory, and the express
image of His person….” Heb 1:1-3. “….His dear
Son….Who is the image of the invisible God” Col
1:15. That image of God was lost from man at the
fall into sin, and is replaced only in the spiri-
tual new birth, when Gods’ elect “have put on the
new man” Col 3:10, i. e., “have put on Christ.”
Gal 3:27.
Man was without sin and had the “Image of God “
before the “fall into sin”. When one of Gods’
elect experiences spiritual new birth and “has
put on the new man” and “has put on Christ” and
has regained the “image of God”; at this point he
becomes without sin as man was before the fall in-
to sin. He actually lives the rest of his life
without sin. The Scriptures below prove that this
statement is true! Can you provide any scriptural
proofs to the opposite?
Obscure passages understood in the light of clear
passages.
One of the first and most reasonable of the rules
of Scriptural hermeneutics (the science of inter-
pretation) is: the harder passages of Scripture
must be understood in the light of that which
is easier. Fundamental and chief doctrines of Holy
Scripture find their seats in clear and plain
statements of God’s Word. For correct understand-
ing, visionary and parabolic passages must conform
doctrinally to fundamental seats of doctrine. All
who read God’s Word agree that some of it is
clearer than other. Even in St. Paul’s writings,
some things are easier than others. Peter wrote:
“….as also our most dear brother Paul according to
the wisdom given him hath written to you, as also
in all epistles, speaking in them of these things,
in the which are certain things hard to be under-
stood, which the unlearned and unstable deprave,
as also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own
perdition.” II Peter 3:15, 16.
“No prophecy of Scripture is made by private inter-
pretation.” II Peter 1:20. Cf. I Cor 2:13. By com-
paring the harder with the clearer, Scripture
explains itself: and, therefore, it is compared “to
a candle shining in a dark place.” II Peter 1:19.
Cf. Ps 118:8; Pr 6:23; I Tim 6:3; II Tim 1:13.
Scriptures below refer to “rebirth” which is also
known as the “first resurrection” or “being born
again”. I John 3:9 is the most dynamic and
clears up any darkness that the others may inhibit!
John 5
24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hear-
eth my word, and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is
coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the
voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall
live.
Romans 6
1: What shall we say then? Shall we continue in
sin, that grace may abound?
2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin,
live any longer therein?
3: Know ye not, that so many of us as were bap-
tized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his
death?
4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into
death: that like as Christ was raised up from the
dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life.
5: For if we have been planted together in the
likeness of his death, we shall be also in the
likeness of his resurrection:
6: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified
with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,
that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7: For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8: Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that
we shall also live with him:
9: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead
dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10: For in that he died, he died unto sin once:
but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11: Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead
indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal
body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13: Neither yield ye your members as instruments
of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves
unto God, as those that are alive from the dead,
and your members as instruments of righteousness
unto God.
14: For sin shall not have dominion over you: for
ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15: What then? shall we sin, because we are not
under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves
servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye
obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience
unto righteousness?
17: But God be thanked, that ye were the servants
of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that
form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18: Being then made free from sin, ye became the
servants of righteousness.
19: I speak after the manner of men because of the
infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded
your members servants to uncleanness and to ini-
quity unto iniquity; even so now yield your mem-
bers servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20: For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were
free from righteousness.
21: What fruit had ye then in those things whereof
ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things
is death.
22: But now being made free from sin, and become
servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness,
and the end everlasting life.
23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I Cor 15
34: Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some
have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to
your shame.
II Cor 5
15: And that he died for all, that they which live
should not henceforth live unto themselves, but
unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16: Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the
flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the
flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new.
Eph 2
1: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in
trespasses and sins;
5: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened
us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph 5
14: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest,
and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give
thee light.
Col 2
13: And you, being dead in your sins and the un-
circumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened to-
gether with him, having forgiven you all tres-
passes;
Col 3
1: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ sitteth on
the right hand of God.
Heb 10 (KJV)
26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have re-
ceived the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth
no more sacrifice for sins,
27: But a certain fearful looking for of judgment
and fiery indignation, which shall devour the ad-
versaries.
Heb 10 (Todays English Version)
26: For there is no longer any sacrifice that will
take away sins if we purposely go on sinning after
the truth has been made known to us.
27: instead all that is left is to wait in fear
for the coming judgement and the fierce fire which
will destroy those who oppose God.
Heb 10 (The Living Bible)
26: If anyone sins deliberately after knowing the
truth of forgiveness, this sin is not covered by
Christs’ death; there is no way to get rid of it.
27: There will be nothing to look forward to but
the terrible punishment of Gods’ awful anger which
will consume all of his enemies.
1 John 3 (KJV)
9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.
1 John 3 ( NIV)
9: No one who is born of God will continue to sin,
because Gods’ seed remains in him; he cannot go on
sinning, because he has been born of God.
1 John 3 (The Living Bible)
9: The person who has been born into God’s family
does not make a practice of sinning, because now
God’s life is in him; so he can’t keep on sinning,
for this new life has been born into him and con-
trols him-- he is born again.
1 John 3 (Todays English Version)
9: Whoever is a child of God does not continue
to sin, for God’s very nature is in him; and be-
cause God is his Father, he cannot continue to
sin.
Eze 37
12: Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will
open your graves, and cause you to come up out
of your graves, and bring you into the land of
Israel.
13: And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I
have opened your graves, O my people, and brought
you up out of your graves, 14: And shall put my
spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall
place you in your own land: then shall ye know
that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it,
saith the LORD.

Some will say that I lifted these verses out of
context so as to make them say what I want them
to say. Not so! Go to Scripture and read these
verses in context. There is no deceit here….only
the truth of Jesus.

THE FREEWILLERS EXPOSED
The preachers in the pulpits of Christendom
teach that the natural man, when he comes in-
to the world, is "A Free Moral Agent," and
that he has "A Free Will." They teach that if
a man is saved it is because he chose God and
did the good thing of believing in God.
But this is not Scriptural. This teaching is
derived not from God's Word.
Free Moral Agent? The word Agent is not
in the Bible. The word Moral is not in the
Bible. Not even is the doctrine's title derived
from God and His Word.
Free Will? This term is not derived from
God's Word. The term, freewill offering,
appears 16 times in the Bible; and in Ezra 7:
13 we read about those "which are minded of
their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem."
otherwise, the term is not in God's Word.
The term is not there at all, relative to one
being saved and being drawn to God of his own
freewill !
Scripture doctrine of Election
God's Word teaches that in eternity, be-
fore the foundation of the world, God chose
certain ones to be saved and others to be
damned. This was predetermined by God be-
fore He made the world and mankind. In the
time of the existence of this world, those,
whom He had before predestinated, would be
motivated and called by the Holy Spirit to
hear the Word of God and believe. In the
hearts of these chosen ones of God, the Holy
Spirit would work faith to believe in Christ
unto eternal salvation. All those whom the
Holy Spirit does not bring into the Household
of faith were previously elected by God unto
eternal damnation.
Acceptance of the heresy that a
man is a free moral agent and has a free will
to choose God, and thus, the rejection of the
Scriptural doctrine of Election is rooted in
a revolt against God's authority and
in the self-deification of man.
Acceptance of the "freewill" and
"free moral agency of man" is rejection not
only of the Scriptural doctrine of Election, but
is also rejection of the Scriptural doctrine of
the Sinful nature of the Natural Man.
The natural man's inability to choose
God or anything good.
For the churchianityite to believe his preacher
that man chooses God instead of God choosing
His people, is for the churchianityite not to
understand man's sin problem, the total depra-
vity of the natural man and of the whole-human
race.
Scripture teaches that Adam and Eve
sinned against God and brought sin and death
upon all men. "Wherefore, as by one man
sin entered into the world, and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men, for that all
have sinned." Romans 5:12. "The wages of
sin is death." Rom. 7:23.
The sinner does not choose God. He is
not capable of approaching to God. Further,
he is not capable of desiring to approach unto
God! "Because the carnal mind is enmity
against God for it is not subject to the law of
God, neither indeed can be. So then they that
are in the flesh cannot please God." Rom. 8:
7,8.
St. Paul adds: "But the natural man re-
ceiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can
he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned." I Cor. 2:14 .
The ultimate good which one could do
would be to approach unto God; but such good
is not in man. It is only in God.". . . all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags." Isaiah
64:6. This is because, as the Psalmist de-
clared: "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and
in sin did my mother conceive me." Ps. 51:5.
The natural man is without Christ, with-
out God; Jesus said: "without me ye can do
nothing." St. John 15:5. That means that
without Christ no one can do anything to
please God. This natural man is "having no
hope, and without God in the world." Eph. 2:
12. These are "dead in trespasses and sins"
walking "according to the course of this
world, according to the prince of the power in
of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the
children of disobedience: Among whom also
we all had our conversation in times past is
the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of
the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature
the children of wrath, even as others." Eph. 2:1-3.
Then, how is one saved?
If the carnal mind of the natural man is
enmity against God, and man cannot approach
unto God, then how can anyone come into
fellowship with God and be saved? "What shall
we do that we might work the words of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is
the work of God, that ye believe on him whom
he hath sent." St. John 6:28,29.
Those who think that man has a freewill
and is a free moral agent, so good as to draw
himself unto God, must hear the words of
Christ to the contrary: "No man can come to
me, except the Father which hath sent me
draw him. . . " John 6:44.
St. Paul wrote to Christians: "But now, after
that ye have known God, or rather are
known of God. . . " Gal. 3:9. That is because
‘we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.”
Eph. 2:10.
It is not the natural man that worketh
something in God; but "it is God which work-
eth in you both to will and to do of his good
pleasure. Phil. 2:13.
It is not man who begins a good work in
God; but "he which hath begun a good work in
you will perform it until the day of Jesus
Christ." Phil. 1:6.
It is not we who believe according to our
choosing and by our mighty power; but it is
"according to the working of his mighty
power." Eph. 1:19 .
We have shined nothing into God's heart;
but "God, who commanded the light to shine
out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts,
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory
of God in the face of Jesus Christ." II Cor. 4:6.
Man does not turn God unto him; but God
turns His Elect unto Him. ". . . turn thou me,
and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord
my God." Jer. 31:18.
God is not born of man, but he who
comes to God "is born of the Spirit.” Jn. 3:
4-6 .
Man does not save God; but "according to
his mercy he saved us. " Titus 3:5. A man
does not have a clean and Godly heart by
which he comes to God, but in the individual
whom God has chosen, God creates a clean
heart. Thus, the Psalmist moved by the Holy
Spirit, prayed: "Create in me a clean heart,
O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Psalm 51:10. "For I will take you from
among the heathen. . . Then will I sprinkle
clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean...
new heart also will I give you, and a new
spirit will I put within you: and I will take
way the stony heart out of your flesh, and I
will give you a heart of flesh." Eze. 36:24-26.
Man does not wash God; nor does a man
wash himself clean to approach unto God,
"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts,
murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts,
false witness, blasphemies." Matt. 15:19.
But, him whom God has chosen, the Spirit
of our God washes and sanctifies (makes
holy). Those who come to God "are washed. . .
sanctified. . . justified in the name of the Lord
Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Cor.
6:11.
These Scriptures establish for us God's
teaching concerning the sinful essence of the
natural man since the fall of man into sin.
These verses show the hopelessness and help-
lessness of man in this depraved, carnal
state. They show that man can not and does
not of his own volition turn to God, but that
if a man is saved from eternal damnation unto
righteousness and eternal life, it is solely
because God by His Holy Spirit turned the
man.
Indeed, God created man in his own
image, in the "image of God created he him;
male and female created he them." Gen. 1:
27. But, what is the image of God? Scrip-
ture says that that Image is Christ Jesus!
"God. . . Hath. . . spoken unto us by his Son. . .
Who being the brightness of his glory, and -
the express image of his person. . . " Heb. 1:1-
3. ". . . his dear Son. . . Who is the image of
the invisible God” Col. 1:15. That image
of God was lost from man at the Fall into Sin,
and is replaced only in the spiritual New
Birth, when God's Elect "have put on the new
man" (Col. 3:10), i. e., "have put on Christ."
Gal. 3:27.
Some preachers speak of "man's dignity."
Dignity indicates worth. Man's worth after
the Fall into Sin is less than nothing;
for he is hell bound, a lost and condemned
creature, "having no hope and without God
in the world.” Eph. 2:12. Having not been
elected, he will be like Judas Iscariot, i.e.
"good were it for that man if he had never
been born." Mark. 14:21.
When preachers make "the likeness of
God" into "the spiritual being within us, that
is endowed with intellectual and moral capac-
ities," the preachers strike at Christ, doing
away with Christ, substituting the natural
man's perverted and evil mind in the place of
the Holy Christ. When the preachers
say that "Everything is ordained by God's
providence, but the freedom of choice is
given to man," they establish a self-contra-
diction. And to say "whether man be good or
bad, righteous or wicked, depends upon his
own free-will" is plainly un-Scriptural and
anti-God.
Why one person is saved and another.
One is not saved because he is a free moral
agent with a free will, who wills to be saved.
One is not lost and damned because he is a
free moral agent with a free will, who
wills to be damned.
In time, a person comes to the Word of
God, to understanding, and to faith in Christ,
because: before time was, God chose that
- in time - that person would come into the
Household of faith.
Others, who do not come to grace and
faith - in time - had not been chosen unto
salvation, but unto damnation.
God did the choosing, Scripture says, "be-
fore the foundation of the world." "Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Chosen
when? “According as he hath chosen us in him
before the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of
children by Jesus Christ to himself, accord-
ing to the good pleasure o his will." Eph. 1:
3-5. It is according to the good pleasure of
HIS WILL, not some depraved man's "free
will." The choosing was done by God before
Creation.
Those who were not chosen to be saved
have their "names. . . not written in the book,
of life. . . from the foundation of the world."
Rev. 13:8. That is: "whose names were not
written in the book of life from the foundation
of the world." Rev. 17:8. God's "works" of
determining who is, and who is not, to enter
into the "rest" of the everlasting Holy Chris-
tian Church, "were finished from the founda-
tion of the world." Heb. 4:3. On Judgment
Day Christ will say to His Christians: "Come,
ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the
world." Matthew 25:34. “these, before they
were born, before the foundation of the world
with the foreknowledge and predetermination
of God, had their names "written in the
Lamb's book of life." Rev. 21:27. "And who-
soever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire." Rev. 20:
15. Cf. Rev. 3:5. One name we know, for
sure, which was written in the Lamb's Book
of life before the foundation of the world, is
the name: Clement! Paul wrote: "And I en-
treat thee also, true yokefellow, help those
women which laboured with me in the gospel,
with Clement also, and with other my fellow-
labourers, whose names are in the book of
life." Phil. 4:3.
Chosen by God
A lie is nothing but a perversion of a
truth. The FREEWILL LIE is destroyed by
the truth, which the lie was concocted to
pervert.
Here are strong words of simple truth:
"Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and
causest to apporoach unto thee, that he may
dwell in thy courts. . .” Psalm 65:4.
To Christians who had been Gentiles St.
Peter wrote: "But ye are a chosen genera-
tion, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people. . . Which in time past were
not a people, but are now the people of God."
I Pet. 2:9. These are "the people whom he
hath chosen for his own inheritance." Ps. 33:
12. The Psalmist speaks to them: "O ye seed
of Abraham his servant, ye children of
Jacob his chosen." Ps. 105:6. These are
to whom St. Paul said: "And if ye be Christ's,
then are ye Abraham's seed. . . " Gal. 3:29.
Then he brought forth his people with joy,
and his chosen with gladness." Ps. 105:43.
The "freewill" teachers and the "free
moral agent" teachers cannot bring forth one
piece of Scripture which says that man has a
freewill, or that man is a free moral agent to
chose God But here are manifold Scrip-
tures, one after another, to show that God
has chosen and Elected His People!
"For the Lord hath chosen Zion. . . " Ps.
132:13. Who is Zion ? "But ye are come unto
mount Sion, and unto the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem. . . To the
general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven. " Heb. 12:22,23.
". . . the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem."
Zech. 3:2. ". . . the city which thou hast
chosen." I Kings 8:44,48. ". . . for Jerusa-
lem's sake which I have chosen. " I Kings 11:
13:32,36; II Kings 21:7 .
"For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto
Himself, and Israel for His peculiar treasure”
Ps. 135:4. Who is his Israel? St. Paul says
that "Esaias also crieth concerning Israel,"
then St. Paul declares that these are Chris-
tians who have attained unto righteousness
from among the Gentiles. Romans 9:27,24,30.
"But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom
I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the
earth. . . I have chosen thee. and not cast
thee away." Is. 41:8,9. ", . . my people, my
chosen." Is. 43:20. "Yet now hear, O Jacob my
servant; and Israel whom I have chosen. . .
Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun,
whom I have chosen." Is. 44:1,2. To the anti-
Christ, concerning His Christians, God says:
"And ye shall leave your name for a curse
unto my chosen. . . " Is. 65:15. "O ye seed of
Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his
chosen ones." I Chron. 16:13.
God's people, Gods children, are His
Christians only, as St. Paul said: "For ye
are all the children of God by faith in Christ
Jesus." Gal. 3:26. To these God said: "For
thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God;
for the Lord thy God hath chosen thee. . . "
Deut. 7:6. "For thou art an holy people unto
the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen
thee. . . " Deut. 14:2. ". . . thy people which
thou hast chosen. . . " I Kings 3:8.
God's House is His Church, His Holy
Christian Church, made up of Christians,
"whose house are we." Hebrews 3:6. "For
now have I chosen and sanctified this house,
that my name may be there forever. "
II Chron. 7:16; Cf. II Chron. 7:12; 33:7.
God's Christians are “a royal priesthood"
I Pet. 2:9. They are the spiritual Levites!
"Hear me, ye Levites. . . the Lord hath chosen
you. . . " II Chron. 29:11.
The Elect
God's Chosen people, His Christians, are
His Elect . ". . . but for the elect's sake,
whom he hath chosen. . . " Mark 13:20. "or
Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine
elect. . . " Is. 45:4. These did not elect God;
He elected them, before the foundation of
the world.
God predestinated Jacob unto salvation
and Esau unto damnation, for He loved Jacob
and hated Esau. All this was BEFORE these
twins were born to Rebecca and Isaac. It
was before either of the twins had "done any
good or evil, that the purpose of God accord-
ing to election might stand, not of works,
but of him that calleth." Romans 9:11. This
shows the FREEWILLERS and FREE MORAL
AGENT teachers to be dealers in lies.
At the time of St. Paul's writing to the Romans
There was also “a remnant according to the elect-
on of grace." Rom. 11:5. Final老generation
physical Israelites did not obtain salvation “but
the election hath obtained it, and the rest were
blinded” Romans 11:7. These Christians from among
the Gentiles are "the elect of God." Col. 3:12.
They are "Elect according to the foreknowl-
edge of God the Father. " I Pet. 1:2. Cf. also:
Is . 65:9,22; Mt. 2.22,24,31; Mk. 13:22,27;
Lk. 18:7; Rom. 8:33; 11:28; I Thess. 1:4; II
Tim. 2:10; Titus 1:1; I Pet. 5:13; II Pet. 1:10;
II John 1,13.
Pedestinated
What will the FREEWILLERS do with this?
"And we know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are
the called according to his purpose. For whom
he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to
be conformed to the image of his Son, that he
might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he
also called: and whom he called, them he also
justified and whom he justified, them he also
glorifed. " Rom. 8:28-30. Again: "According
as he hath chosen us in him before the founda-
tion of the world. . . Having predestinated us
unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ
to himself, according to the good pleasure of
his will. . . In whom also we have obtained an
inheritance, being predestinated according to
the purpose of him who worketh all things af-
ter the counsel of his will, " not the will of the
FREEWILLERS! Eph. l:4,5,11.
Those foreordained to damnation
God created the Elect to be saved; and He
created all others to be damned. Before the
foundation of the world God afore prepared un-
to glory certain people, certain vessels. They
are His vessels of mercy. The others are
vessels of His wrath, prepared unto damna-
tion. "What if God, willing to shew his wrath,
and to make his power known, endured with
much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted
to destruction" And that he might make known
the riches of his glory on the vessels of mer-
cy, which he had afore prepared unto glory. "
Romans 9:22,23.
St. Peter spoke of the others as the "dis-
obedient . . . the builders " who "disallowed. . .
the stone" who “stumble at the word, being
disobedient; whereunto also they were ap-
pointed. " I Pet. 2:7,8. St. Paul spoke thus
also in Romans 9:31-33. Peter spoke of the others
as "false prophets" whose "damnation slum-
bereth not. " II Pet. 2:1,3.
One of the outstanding verses of Scripture
which teaches the doctrine of fore-ordination
to condemnation is Jude 4 which speaks
of the foreordinatin of the others to damna-
tion. "For there are certain men crept in
unawares, who were before of old ordained
to this condemnation. . . " And, Proverbs 16:
4 says: "The Lord hath made all things for
Himself: yea. even the wicked for the day of
evil." That the others are to be damned is
written in I Thessalonians 2:14-16, which
speaks of the others and says: "for the wrath
is come upon them to the uttermost."
These above Scriptures show that man is
not a free moral agent, endowed with a free
will, to choose salvation or to choose damna-
tion. No man is to set himself up as judge
over God, to condemn God because God chose
certain ones to damnation; and St. Paul says
this, when he writes: "Nay but, O man, who
art thou that repliest against God? Shall the
thing formed say to him that formed it, Why
hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter
power over the clay, of the same lump to
make one vessel unto honour, and another un-
to dishonour?" Romans 9:21.
Only in this light are we able to deter-
mine the meaning of the words: "Whosoever
will, let him take the water of life freely.”
Rev. 22:17. The FREEWILLERS are false
WHOSOEVERWILLERS. They abuse this
evangelical invitation unto salvation, which is
accepted finally by only the Elect. It is not
an invitation extended by God to those whom
God has already predestinated to eternal
damnation!
The only ones who HEAR and THIRST
unto eternal salvation by faith in Christ,
are those predestinated. "And whosoever" "was not
found written in the book of life was cast into the
lake of fire." Revelation 20:15.
